The Soundcast iCast system is tailored to the needs of the Apple iPod owner. The iCast transmitter is specially configured to accommodate most of the currently available iPods, using approved interchangeable inserts in the docking bay. While in the dock, the iPod charges, and all the iPod controls are functional to operate it.
Compatible with 3G, 4G, photo, nano, video 30G, video 60G, video 80G iPods.
Simply plug the iCast into a Hi-fi System (via included phono cable) and the iCast receiver duplicates several key iPod functions to allow enjoyment of the iPod and operate remotely from the receiver location. Each iCast Transmitter can control up to two iCast receivers so it is possible to transmit audio to two different locations in the house with the purchase of a second iCast receiver.
