How it works...
The GigaControl450™ comprises an IR receiver and an IR transmitter. Place the IR receiver in the room in which you wish to use the remote control. Place the IR transmitter in sight of the equipment that you wish to operate. Point the remote control at the IR receiver in order to operate equipment through walls (wirelessly) via the IR transmitter.
Features
- Relays infrared remote control signals to audio-visual equipment anywhere in the house without having to install wiring.
- Can control any number of audio-visual devices which are in line of sight of a GigaControl450 IR transmitter.
- Manually select another wireless frequency (16 channels) if there is disruption from other equipment or if your neighbours are using the same set.
- Each GigaControl450 IR transmitter can control two devices in a closed cupboard (or otherwise out of sight) when used in conjunction with an additional infrared extender cable such as the Marmitek IR Eye.
- Equipment can be controlled from any number of rooms by adding more GigaControl450 IR receivers.
- Mains powered IR receiver and IR transmitter.
- Compatible with most brands of audio-visual equipment including Sky, Sky+ & Sky HD.
